Passing the Spoon from Disneyland Paris to EPCOT with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

After supporting EPCOT for nearly a decade, I am so thrilled to see more of what makes EPCOT, EPCOT come to life with the magic of possibility. One of our next transformation milestones is the grand opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure on Oct. 1, just in time for The World’s Most Magical Celebration of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort!

For many EPCOT guests, visiting World Showcase may be their first introduction to cultures around the world. The connection between real places and the uniquely-Disney stories inspired by their culture is part of what makes this theme park so special – it’s where the real worlds are made fantastic! So what better place than the France pavilion to host Le Petite Chef and the story of “Ratatouille,” a love letter to the culinary traditions of Paris?

As you may know, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure debuted at our sister park, Disneyland Paris, as Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy (Ratatouille – The Adventure) in 2014. Since then, our French cast members have hosted Chef Remy and embraced the idea that “anyone can cook.”

Now, they’re eager for their peers in the EPCOT worldwide family to join them in Remy’s world. In fact, Disneyland Paris is ready to pass the torch – or in this case, the spoon! – as EPCOT counts down to the 50th anniversary and Remy’s France pavilion debut!

I hope you see you soon strolling the streets of Remy’s Paris in EPCOT – allons-y!
