Disney Cruise Line has again been recognized as an industry leader for delivering outstanding customer service and exemplary dining experiences.
Recently named a Customer Experience All-Star by Forbes and identified by readers of Food & Wine as having one of the best culinary experiences at sea, we are proud to welcome guests with our signature service and immersive storytelling. All while helping to create memories that last a lifetime.
In addition to awards like these that demonstrate the magic of a Disney cruise vacation, we greatly appreciate when we hear directly from our guests about their experiences onboard our ships.
Of the many messages we receive every day, one recent letter stood out to me that shows just how much our guests – both young and young at heart – enjoy their time onboard.
For 10-year-old Grace, her family’s spring break Caribbean cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy provided inspiration for a class assignment. Which her mom shared with us after they returned home to Missouri.
In her five-star restaurant review of Animator’s Palate, Grace detailed how the restaurant’s themed décor “felt magical”. With decorations that were “so welcoming and beautiful that I actually needed a moment to take it all in.” From the paintbrush butter knives and film-themed bread plates to the Mickey-inspired chairs and Disney animation artwork. Grace said the whole place “screams Disney.”
Beyond describing the colorful restaurant filled with items you would find in an animator’s studio, Grace raved about the servers who attended to her family’s every need. “The staff were so kind and so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had the perfect experience.”
“All of the waiters made me feel welcome,” she added. “They always recommended the best-tasting options on the menu. It was like they knew exactly what my family and I would like.” By the way, if you ask Grace about her favorite item on Animator Palate’s menu, she would order the Chocolate Decadence “again in a heartbeat.”
In addition to Grace’s favorite Animator’s Palate, across our fleet families are invited to dine with their favorite Marvel superheroes, attend a wedding celebration in Arendelle, enjoy beignets at Tiana’s Place, celebrate Pirate Night at sea and so much more. Meanwhile, our adult guests can savor an intimate, romantic dinner of Italian cuisine at Palo. Revel in the finest French-inspired gourmet fare at Remy or cultivate their inner connoisseur during a beverage-tasting experience.
On behalf of all our cast and crew members, we are honored to be named among the best at sea by both Forbes and Food & Wine. And, of course, to earn five stars from Grace!
