This past year has brought with it a lot of uncertainty and back-and-forth with the Disney Cruise Line. Most recently, several cruises for this fall were cancelled, and the test cruise set for June 29th was delayed due to health and safety concerns.

So what does that mean for the current policies on cancellation and flexibility?

Disney Cruise Line has updated their cancellation and flexibility policies for cruises this year. For all cruises through December 31st of this year, guests who reserved spots in non-Suite and non-Concierge categories will have cancellation flexibility for 59 days prior to the sailing date. Guests who booked the Suite and Concierge categories will lose their deposit if they cancel (even if it’s 59 days out or more), but they will not be charged additional fees if they cancel at least 59 days out.

Disney also extended the final payment policy, so guests now are able to make their final payment up to 60 days before their cruise sets sail.

In addition, Disney Cruise Line extended the flexibility policy. Now, guests can change their sail date up to 15 days before their cruse if it is booked by July 31, 2021. They must reschedule for a cruise that begins on or before December 31st, 2021.
