— As the first-ever godchildren of a Disney ship, and the incredible opportunity to help grant some wishes along the way.
Last week, we introduced you to wish alum Jenna, whose wish was granted in 2015. As she shared her inspiring story and her passion for helping others. Today, you’ll meet 10-year-old Colby and hear his inspiring and heartwarming story.
Before Colby joined us on stage to christen the Disney Wish, we visited his home in Massachusetts to share some very special news. Not only would he play an important role in the christening of a new Disney cruise ship, but he would also get to fulfill his wish to meet a Disney Imagineer — and then some!

Since 1980, Disney and Make-A-Wish have helped grant life-changing wishes. For more than 145,000 children with critical illnesses around the world. Historically, one out of every two wishes granted in the U.S. through Make-A-Wish has been a Disney wish. With many of these wishes involve visits to global Disney destinations and sailings with Disney Cruise Line. For children with critical illnesses, a wish can be transformative, bringing hope, strength, and joy. So they can forget about treatment and just be a kid.
Join us next week as we get to know Megan, our third Make-A-Wish ambassador, and hear about her experience of having her own wish granted last summer.
