But there’s much more to Disney Cast Life than what cast members experience on the clock. Some of the best parts of being a cast member are those unique, pinch-yourself opportunities that are only possible by working at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Here’s a look at just a few of the experiences cast members had recently at Walt Disney World Resort!
Cast members get ready to join Team Blue
Starting this week, Walt Disney World cast members will be the first to preview the soon-to-open new attraction, TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. Each cast member can also share the memories with up to three friends or family. And bring them into the Grid as part of their preview.
Cast and their guests get exclusive access to a party at Magic Kingdom Park
More than 5,000 cast members had a blast celebrating milestone service anniversaries with a special party at Magic Kingdom Park this week. What better way to celebrate a work anniversary than by walking a red carpet on Main Street, U.S.A… Riding Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and enjoying buffets of delicious eats and treats?
Disney VoluntEARS bring magic to their communities
Bringing the positive power of Disney out into the community is a huge part of the #DisneyCastLife. In fact, since the start of the 50th Anniversary celebration, cast members have dedicated more than 233,000 hours of their time volunteering.Through our Disney VoluntEARS program.
A look behind the scenes
In case you missed it, lucky Walt Disney World cast members were wooed with chocolates and flowers as part of an employee sweepstakes program called Magic Backstage. They got a peek behind the curtain at The Ganachery and Disney Floral & Gifts. The perfect pairing just in time for Valentine’s Day! These two experiences are just part of the dozens of Magic Backstage sweepstakes opportunities that cast can enter every month. Including backstage tours, complimentary staycations, movie screenings and more.
A ticket to the magic
Perhaps the best-known perk of being a cast member is complimentary access to the theme parks. Every cast member has a story of the moment they first visited a Disney theme park after receiving their iconic Disney nametag. And realizing that they’ve become part of the captivating stories and incredible service Disney is known for. For cast members, complimentary admission privileges provide boundless opportunities to be inspired and enjoy the magic they help create.
