You heard right – it’s almost time to giddy up and grab your seat at the table because reservations are now open for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! This beloved musical dinner show returns this summer to Walt Disney World Resort. And starting today, you can book reservations via DisneyWorld.com and the My Disney Experience app for showtimes beginning June 23.
Since 1974, Hoop-Dee-Doo has captivated crowds and brought joy to families visiting from all over the world. During its almost 50-year run at the Most Magical Place on Earth, the show has evolved with its audiences and continues to be a treasured experience the entire family can enjoy.
“I remember when I first walked out on the Pioneer Hall stage, cast as Six Bits Slocum, and saw how much our guests enjoyed the show,” said Tom Vazzana. He’s now a creative director with Disney Live Entertainment. “Over the years, I’ve seen the show grow with our guests and when we return, our hope is that guests truly see themselves reflected on stage and in our performances.”
Guests come from all over for the funny jokes, good food, and tons of fun. But they keep coming back for the tradition and to share this beloved experience with new generations.
“Our guests and cast are like family,” David Moore, stage manager, said. “It’s great to see guests celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and vacations year after year. You get to know friends, couples, and families. You meet their children and grandchildren. Just seeing how much this show means to our cast and guests is an amazing experience. And I love being a part of that magic.”

This summer, Hoop-Dee-Doo will return bright and fresh with a new audio and lighting system. And a few updates to its script and scenery, while staying true to the experience guests know and love. “We had the unique opportunity to really look at this show and take it to the next level for everyone involved,” David shared. “From switching the stage lighting to LED – which is better for the environment – to upgrading the audio for better sound quality. Every little update is leading to a better overall experience for our guests and cast.”
We can’t wait to join The Pioneer Hall Players and cast members in welcoming you back to this beloved frontier-style family fun dining experience! Only at Walt Disney World will you see so much attention to detail, and our teams of the cast are working together to bring it all to life.
“I am so proud to work with an amazing team that has taken the time to make this ongoing legacy what it is today, especially during the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration,” Tom said. “And I can’t wait to see the audience’s expression when that curtain rises and the Pioneer Hall Players burst onto the scene once again with the same great fun family entertainment we’ve brought them all these years.”
