planDisney: A Guide to Planning your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation with Little Ones
Originally published at Disney Parks News
Join planDisney panelists, Leslie and LeAndra, as they kick off our newest series on planning your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation with little ones. Each will share their tried-and-true tips on how to successfully navigate a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, with little ones in tow. From overall planning to choosing resorts, dining options, and even attractions, they have got the answers you need. Together, these two will show guests where to find the fun and magic, not only at the theme parks, but also at resorts, water parks, and even Disney Springs! Dare we say, the planning might just be as fun as the actual vacation itself.
Where to begin?
Leslie believes in getting her entire family involved in the planning process. Her kids’ must-dos’s come first, and then she plans the rest of the vacation around their top priorities. LeAndra also uses the Walt Disney World Resort preschool page when she begins to plan her Disney vacation with her two young sons. But these are just a few of the amazing tips they want to share, so let’s get started!
There truly is something for little ones at every park.
Kidcot Fun Stops and the aquarium in The Seas will offer endless fun at EPCOT and the ride over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Disney Skyliner is an event all by itself! And once there, little ones will love exploring Andy’s backyard in Toy Story Land and taking a crazy adventure on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, preschoolers can become Wilderness Explorers, view animals in the African savanna on Kilimanjaro Safaris, or enjoy a relaxing journey on the Na‘vi River Journey in Pandora – The World of Avatar.
But let’s not forget the magic of walking with your little one down Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park. And while there are many attractions here that kids will enjoy, both Leslie and LeAndra recommend soaking in those spectacular views of Cinderella Castle. Core memories for sure! Also, don’t forget special holiday events at Walt Disney World Resort that not only little ones will love, but also adults, too.
What a great overview of how to begin the planning with your preschooler. Next up, we will look at how to select the best resort for your family.
