With Spring Break right around the corner, you might be thinking of a week at the beach …
An idea we can definitely get behind, especially if you are considering a vacation at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. Nestled on the breathtaking coast of South Carolina, this resort truly is a home away from home. Guests will not only enjoy 12 miles of beaches for soaking up the sun, but also countless outdoor activities for the whole family.
Sure, the word island alone makes this resort a top pick for our panelists, but there is so much more to this resort than sand and sun. Let’s start with the rooms. Guests staying at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort will be able to choose from a wide variety of rooms. Including everything from a Deluxe Studio to a 3 Bedroom Grand Villa. While a 1 Bedroom Villa will accommodate up to five adults. Those looking for a bit more space will want to check out the 2 Bedroom Villa that sleeps up to nine adults and includes one king bed, two queen beds, one queen-size sleeper sofa, and one twin-size sleeper chair! Enough room to bring the entire family, and a few friends!
After a good night’s sleep, it’s time to hit the water. Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort has two pools on-site, The Big Dipper and The Little Dipper. Located near Broad Creek Mercantile, in the heart of the resort, these pools feature a waterslide, hot tub, and kiddie pool. Guests headed to Disney’s Beach House will also enjoy a refreshing splash in the Beach House Pool located approximately one mile from the resort.
Also located at Disney’s Beach House is Signals, a seaside grill offering lunch and snacks … ohhh and DOLE Whips! Back at the resort, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and snacks at Tide Me Over. And you guessed it, DOLE Whips can be found here as well!
While the beach and the pools can consume an entire day, there are many other recreational activities to enjoy at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort! Campfire activities, Movies Under the Oaks, guided nature walks, and even dolphin & nature discovery boat rides! Not feeling that energetic? Don’t worry, hammocks are also available at this resort.
