Are you trying to decide where to stay on your next Walt Disney World vacation?

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

It can be pretty hard to make a decision with so many Disney Resort options! Thankfully, we’ve got YOUR reviews on all the Disney Resorts on our website, and today we’re sharing the list of the 10 worst-rated choices — according to AllEars readers.

Which did AllEars readers rate as the “worst” Disney Resort? Let’s find out!

8. Beach Club Villas

Kicking off our list is the Beach Club Villas! These Disney Vacation Club rooms are located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and offer more spacious accommodations than the regular rooms, set up studio style.

Disney’s Beach Club

This resort is close to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios with access to Skyliner and boat transportation, plus several delicious dining options and a killer pool! Honestly, an 8.2/10 is a pretty good score, especially when 88% of people recommend staying here.

7. Saratoga Springs Resort

Across the Sassagoula River from Disney Springs, you’ll find the Saratoga Springs Resort, a Disney Vacation Club property. Just like the Beach Club Villas, these rooms offer a little extra space (although that space comes with a slightly higher price tag).

Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa Lobby

Saratoga Springs earned a 7.9/10, with the main complaint from our readers being that the resort was very spread out and far from the parks. Keep in mind that if you stay here, you’ll likely have to walk a while to get to the lobby, especially if you’re closer to Disney Springs. Also, the only transportation option to the parks is taking the bus.

6. Pop Century Resort

The first Value Resort to make it on our list is Pop Century! It’s important to keep in mind that Value Resorts are cheaper, and therefore, you’re getting what you pay for.

With that being said, Pop Century is one of the best Value Resorts according to our readers! The rooms have been recently updated, and with the new Skyliner station between this resort and Art of Animation, getting to the parks is easier than ever.

5. Coronado Springs Resort

Now we have the first Moderate Resort on our list! Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort has received many positive reviews in the last few years since Gran Destino Tower opened, helping raise the overall average score to 7.8/10.

The tower offers essentially deluxe accommodations at a more affordable price, but the rest of the resort is spread out with a room setup similar to Caribbean Beach and Port Orleans. The main complaint from our readers was that the resort is large, so you may have to hop on the internal bus system to get around, and the only transportation to the parks is bus as well.

4. All-Star Movies Resort

The highest-ranking of the All-Star Resorts is All-Star Movies! This resort is very similar to Art of Animation with larger-than-life movie theming, except all the rooms have a straightforward Mickey Mouse design, much like the updated rooms at Pop Century.

‘Toy Story’ section of All-Star Movies

All-Star Movies is one of the cheapest Disney-owned hotels, and the amenities aren’t anything particularly special. You’ll have bus transportation to all the parks and Disney Springs, and your dining options come from the food court. But if you’re on a budget, this may be the place to consider, and it definitely has the most fun decor of the All-Stars!

3. All-Star Music Resort

Tying with All-Star Movies in rating, but slightly lower in recommendation percentage is All-Star Music. This resort is the only one of the three All-Stars to be home to a handful of suites — perfect for larger families!

The rooms here are being updated as well, and that will likely improve the rating in the future. The theming isn’t quite as fun as Movies, simply because you don’t get to see all the recognizable characters. However, you can’t beat that price!

2. Caribbean Beach Resort

The addition of the main Skyliner hub at Disney’s Caribbean Beach has definitely earned it some bonus points in recent years, but some of our readers still haven’t been won over yet. It landed a 7.5/10 and was only recommended by 82% of reviewers.

So what’s the problem here? Many felt that Caribbean Beach was a little outdated and in need of some refurbishment. With so many guests wanting to stay on the Skyliner, it can also get pretty crowded. But if you’re looking for convenience, it’s connected to two parks and three other resorts via Skyliner — that’s a win!

1. All-Star Sports Resort

And here we are at number one (which, in this case, is the worst): the All-Star Sports Resort. While you can’t beat the price, All-Star Sports has the least exciting theming of the three All-Stars, it only has bus transportation, and a food court is your main dining choice.

On top of those things, this is often the resort chosen by sports teams when they’re competing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. So you may find that it’s packed with groups of teenagers during your visit. But even with a 6.9 rating, it was still recommended by 80% of our readers, and you’ll still be at Disney World!
