Disneyland Resort

Let’s begin our not-so-scary food adventure at Disneyland Resort with some hauntingly good treats. Download a printable with all items mentioned below here.

1.) Churro Toffee – Recommended by Panelist Kristen N.

“A Disneyland “west coast only” hidden gem is Churro Toffee, which is a traditional English toffee dipped in white chocolate and rolled in cinnamon & sugar. This sweet treat can be easily shared, even though you’re not going to want to. The good news is that it’s now found at all of the bakeries around Disneyland Resort, including at Marceline’s Confectionery in the Downtown Disney District.”

2.) Peanut Butter Squares and Jawbreakers – Recommended by Panelist Tony S.

“Saying “see ya’ real soon” to the Disneyland Resort can be a melancholy thing. As ‘Inside Out’ taught us, it’s a good idea to pair Sadness with Joy. So our family’s tradition on our last day at the Disneyland Resort is to stop by the Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen on Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. to pick up some of our favorite treats to take home with us: English toffee, peanut butter squares, and oversized jawbreaker suckers. Enjoying these sweet treats fills us with Joy as we reminisce about the many happy times we spent visiting The Happiest Place on Earth!”

3.) English Toffee and Jack-Jack Num Num Cookies – Recommended by Panelist Kamini C.

“My #1 favorite candy at Disneyland Resort is the fresh English Toffee at Candy Palace on Main Street, U.S.A.. It is toffee perfection dipped in milk chocolate and rolled in chopped almonds. It keeps well in the fridge for several weeks after your visit, so it’s a lovely treat to take home for yourself or as a gift. You can even watch the talented candy makers prepare it from the window at Candy Palace. Please don’t leave Disney California Adventure Park without sinking your teeth into a Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num, just near the exit of Incredicoaster. It’s the most amazing warm cookie you will ever eat (with a fork.) They even have a gluten-free option filled with blackberry jam. These two treats are freakishly delicious and perfect to satisfy your Halloween cravings!

4.) Goofy’s Candy Co. Character Gummies – Recommended by Panelist Kristin C.

When it comes to yummy treats at the Disneyland Resort, my kids are obsessed with the Goofy’s Candy Co. Character Gummies that can be found throughout the parks and even at the Resort Hotels! These are the best gummies I’ve ever tasted, and they have cured many toddler meltdowns. Our other favorite treat to grab on the go is the Disney Chocolate Coins with the adorable pictures of favorite Disney Characters on the wrappers. These are the perfect treat to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth throughout your Disney days! You can also find them at most shops throughout the Disneyland Resort.”

Chocolate at The Ganachery in Disney Springs
Walt Disney World Resort

Now from the Happiest Place on Earth to the Most Magical Place on Earth, where our Walt Disney World Resort panelists believe this is in fact the place for the most eerily fantastic treats! And as promised, another downloadable version to make your treat hunting at a breeze!

1.) Sour Cherry Balls and Sour Gummi Worms – Recommended by Panelist Jennifer B.

My family’s last stop when exiting Magic Kingdom Park on our last park day is always the Main Street Confectionery. Don’t tell our dentist, but we stock up on as many bags of Goofy’s Candy Co. treats as our carry-on suitcases can handle. My husband heads straight for the Sour Cherry Balls, the kids select the Sour Gummi Worms, and I enjoy the classic Mickey Jelly Candies. Most recently, I traveled to Walt Disney World Resort without my family and kept the tradition alive by finding our favorite treats at my Disney Resorts Collection hotel. The trick is having the treats survive the journey home!

2.) Chocolate – Recommended by Panelist Taylor J.

The Ganachery in Disney Springs is a great spot for the entire family to get their chocolate fix from the simpler milk chocolate to the more adventurous flavors I’ve seen like chili and all sorts of seasonal flavors in between. And the sandwich-sized s’mores are definitely their star player.

3.) CHOCOLATE-COVERED Caramels – Recommended by Panelist Anna S.

“For the best flavor of fall, I trick or treat at EPCOT’s Karamell-Küche. Go for the candy – the rich, chocolate-covered caramels are the best anywhere, and oh my yum, the fudge! But if you really want a satisfying Halloween to treat, you want the caramel corn. Chewy, crunchy, nostalgic – it even comes in its own handy, dandy treat bag.”

4.) Caramel Popcorn – Recommended by Panelist Ariane F.

“My favorite place to trick or treat at the Walt Disney World Resort? EPCOT! Just like you would go from house to house for your treats, I like going from the pavilion to the pavilion and trying out different snacks. For example, the Caramel Popcorn at Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion is an absolute must-try that will change the way you look at caramel popcorn forever!

5.) Custom M&Ms – Recommended by Panelist Jackie H.

“You can customize your own Halloween goodies at the M&M’s™ store at Disney Springs. Pick a wickedly wonderful mix of colors and even add your Halloween picture to the M&M’s.

6.) Custom Popcorn Mix – Recommended by Panelist Ana Paula

“At the Walt Disney World Resort, trick or treating doesn’t need to happen exclusively during the Halloween season! In fact, there are tons of scrumptious options to be found all throughout the Resort. One of my personal favorite things to do year-round is creating my own popcorn mix at the Magic Kingdom Main Street Confectionery! My go-to mix is rainbow candy popcorn with plain M&M’s and a drizzle of dark chocolate.

My favorite treats are found in the glass bakery case. Peek into the dazzling display of specialty confections to find fudge, brownies, cupcakes, and more.

2.) Sour Candy – Recommended by Adrianna H.

“At Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats on the Disney Dream, I’m racing in for the sour candy that’s available in bulk. Choose from your favorites to make a mix that’s the perfect companion to catching a movie on the Funnel Vision or in the Buena Vista Theatre. Homemade chocolates can be found at Sweet on You on the Disney Fantasy and Venellope’s Sweets & Treats on the Disney Dream.”

“When it comes to “Trick or Treating” on Disney Cruise Line you can head to Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats on the Disney Dream or Sweet on You on the Disney Fantasy! Why? Two words: Bulk candy! From favorites you can find in the Disney parks, to packaged candy, ice cream, and treats you’re only going to find on the Disney Cruise Line Fleet, these shops are worth the trip and extra cost!

4.) Rice Crispy Treats and Caramel Tartlets – Recommended by Panelist Adrianna H.

“Searching for a little treat and an afternoon pick-me-up? The adults-only Cove Café can be found on every ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It’s a hidden gem with a selection of complimentary mid-day sweet bites like rice crispy treats and caramel tartlets.
