When you think of Disney Thrills, you might picture dropping down an abandoned elevator shaft on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or saving the universe on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. But attractions aren’t the only way to be part of the thrills! On this episode of the planDisney Podcast, panelists Samantha K., Raquel C., and Matt N. join host Amiyrah Martin to discuss those one-of-a-kind feelings you can only experience on a Disney vacation – from meeting Mickey Mouse and his pals to treating yourself to a refreshing DOLE whip! Three things to look forward to on this episode:

1. Entering the Grid at Magic Kingdom

It wouldn’t be an episode about Disney Thrills if we didn’t mention one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park worldwide! The panelists had the chance to enter the Grid and experience TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise, the all-new coaster that recently opened at Magic Kingdom Park. They’re sharing insights on joining the virtual queue, using the locker system, accessible seating, and more.

2. Meet the Vice President of Magic Kingdom Park!

After 27 years of being a cast member, Melissa Valiquette still experiences Disney Thrills every day. Tune in to this exclusive interview to learn about Melissa’s thrilling career highlights. Including becoming a Walt Disney World Ambassador and leading Magic Kingdom Park while celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort.

3. Disney Thrills at Walt Disney World Resort

A Disney Thrill is something unique to each of us. For Matt, it’s racing down a forbidden mountain in Asia to escape the infamous Yeti. For Samantha, it’s stepping into the Star Wars films she grew up watching and seeing her favorite characters come to life on Batuu. Raquel finds thrills in the little things, like grabbing a Mickey pretzel to enjoy while watching the Festival of Fantasy parade go by. What does a Walt Disney World thrill feel like to you?
