Exclusive First Look Inside Martha Stewart’s New Restaurant at Paris
Originally published at Vital Vegas
We know this because the restaurant’s construction walls recently came down and now there are just construction drapes, which makes it a lot easier for us to give you a first look inside this new venue.
There’s still work being done, so we trust this sneak preview won’t annoy “global lifestyle icon” Martha Stewart too much. This is how we roll.
The restaurant was originally supposed to open in Spring 2022, but taupe supply chain issues affected the scheduled timeline.
The opening schedule isn’t the only thing that changed since we broke the news Martha Stewart would have a restaurant in Paris. Early word was it would be a collaboration between Stewart and rapper Snoop Dogg. That deal didn’t pan out, sadly. What might have been?
According to Caesars Entertainment, owner of Paris Las Vegas, Martha Stewart designed The Bedford by Martha Stewart herself.
We are naturally skeptical about this claim, although, we trust Stewart approved the designs. It feels very Martha Stewart.
The restaurant was inspired by Stewart’s country farmhouse. The restaurant will accommodate 194 people.
Yes, we could’ve waited a couple of weeks until the restaurant opened. Do you know this blog at all?
A news release about the restaurant says, “Martha’s functional and practical lifestyle takes center stage in her thoughtfully appointed decor, which embraces a neutral color palette that acts as a perfect backdrop to four seasons of color.”
Translation: Zach Galifianakis is going to love this place, fernwise.
Fun fact: Martha Stewart is America’s first self-made female billionaire.
We tease, but Martha Stewart can handle our playful jabs. She’s been in the Big House.
We actually like the design and decor at Bedford by Martha Stewart. We especially like that there’s a bar.
Bedford by Martha Stewart sits in the former Cafe Martorano space. We miss those meatballs quite a bit, all due respect to Martha Stewart.
Details about the menu at Martha Stewart’s restaurant have been hard to come by, but according to her news release, “Signature menu items will be created from sourcing seasonal, high-quality ingredients from various local purveyors and some of Martha’s personal favorites, including the Las Vegas Farmers Market, Dartagnan Inc., Urbani Truffles, Roe Caviar, Frog Hollow Farm, Jasper Hill Farm, Vermont Creamery among others.”
There will be truffles and ice cream. ‘Nuff said.
The nearby Vanderpump Lounge at Paris is killing it. We trust Martha Stewart’s new place will do the same.
As with all the celebrity-branded restaurants in the Caesars Entertainment family, the venue will be managed by the company’s excellent food and beverage team.
They do all the restaurants for Gordon Ramsay, Guy Fieri, Giada De Laurentiis, and others. They sort of having it down to a science at this point.
Celebrity partners snag five percent of the restaurant’s gross sales, possibly more, depending upon how well the restaurant does.
Caesars Entertainment’s deal with Gordon Ramsay is enlightening if you’re a fan of inside baseball.
Celebrities like Martha Stewart are contractually obligated to visit their restaurants at least once a year, so expect to see more of Martha Stewart in Las Vegas.
There’s no official opening date yet, but anticipate a soft opening of Bedford by Martha Stewart in the next few weeks.
