Oyo Reopens Steak ‘n Shake Restaurant

Guests had previously been informed the restaurant was closed permanently. We should know because we were one of those guests who was told the restaurant was closed permanently.
The hotel confirms, though, that Steak ‘n Shake is back.
Steak ‘n Shake is a hold-over from when Oyo was Hooters.
The restaurant opened at Hooters on March 16, 2018.
Steak ‘n Shake didn’t reopen following the temporary closure of Las Vegas casinos due to the pandemic. Since 2020, guests could sit at Steak ‘n Shake’s bar and play
video poker, but the restaurant didn’t serve food.
Oyo’s is one of three Steak ‘n Shake locations in Las Vegas. There’s another at South Point, and a third on Maryland Parkway near the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (or UNLV as the kids call it).
A hotel rep says Steak ‘n Shake hours are 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
You can view the menu online, including what appear to be some bomb specialty shakes.
The reopening of Steak ‘n Shake increases the options at Oyo significantly. Hooters restaurant has had to do all the heavy lifting during the closure of Steak ‘n Shake. It’s quite good, and we visit fairly regularly to enjoy the wings and video poker, despite not being a personal fan of the color orange.
We haven’t tried Steak ‘n Shake, but the restaurant has some die-hard fans, so now we’ll have an excuse to check it out.
